Luke has been at the Fort Smith BCM since August of 2024. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University (2018) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2021). After spending 3 years teaching and coaching football, the Dawsons transitioned into full-time student ministry in 2021.

Luke has a passion for teaching, and finds joy in helping students learn how to share their faith. He is an avid golfer, camera junkie, reader, and New York Yankees fan.

Luke is married to Carrie Beth (Ouachita Baptist, 2019), and they have two young daughters, Lucy and Ellie.
